This hybrid role involves managing user access, device setups, and providing critical support for financial market systems. Support Engineer | Financial Services – Commodities Trading | London, Hybrid | up to £60K + Bonus

The Support Engineer Role:
The Support Engineer role is responsible for managing the ticketing system efficiently and ensuring SLAs for support are met. Managing user access to systems and application licensing across several systems including Office 365 and Active Directory, will be required. Set up of users with devices including Laptops and iPhones/Androids will also be a necessary part of the position. This will also occasionally include the requirement to upgrade user’s devices such as adding more memory and storage to laptops. This role will also need to monitor company systems for alerts and identify potential issues using the provided monitoring tools. There may be some requirement to occasionally work outside of normal business hours and at weekends/bank holidays. Provide technical support by resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues, managing user accounts and permissions, supporting device setups and applications, delivering remote and on-site assistance. Also deliver third-line support by resolving critical infrastructure and application issues, managing core systems and networks, conducting root cause analysis, implementing system changes, supporting disaster recovery, collaborating with technical teams, and contributing to major IT projects.

Paying up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Hybrid working. 3 days per week in the office
