If you are a keen, enthusiastic, and personable Support Engineer seeking a varied role within a dynamic SME environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing, award-winning company based in Birmingham.

The Role

In this varied and highly-visible role, the Support Engineer will provide support to approximately 850 users across multiple UK sites, primarily offering 2nd line desktop support. The role also involves engaging in interesting and diverse project work. The company operates a modern Microsoft environment centered around Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory. The Support Engineer will work five days onsite, mainly in Birmingham, with travel to other sites as needed.

What do I need?
  • Solid experience in providing 1st and 2nd line IT support
  • Experience with various Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 10
  • Experience with Active Directory—creating new users, managing accounts, etc., and ideally Office 365
  • A basic understanding of networking, including VPNs
