Production Support Engineer - London - £200,000 – £300,000 (base + performance bonus) - 4 days in office

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Engineer to join a dynamic trading environment in London. This hands-on role blends operational expertise with technical skills to ensure the seamless execution of daily trading operations and the accuracy of pricing data.

Responsibilities

Validate pricing data each morning using SQL and proprietary tools.
Bring trading systems online and provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support.
Monitor valuations and underlying basket compositions to maintain data integrity.
Streamline, automate, and enhance operational workflows and scripts.
Partner closely with traders and developers to design new tools and improve existing systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive SQL experience (PostgreSQL or equivalent) with large-scale datasets.
Proficiency in Python, including data analysis with Pandas.
Strong understanding of market data (Bloomberg, Reuters).
Working knowledge of Bash and Linux environments.
Experience within ETFs will be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
