What You'll Be Doing

The Support Engineer is often the first point of contact for diagnosing and resolving problems. They need to understand issues across domains such as infrastructure, code, networking, and databases, with enough knowledge to fault find and identify root causes.

Automation Skills

Automation is key for this role. Skills include:

  • Continuous Integration: Building, testing, and integrating software continually.
  • Continuous Deployment: Automating deployment of CI artifacts.
  • Configuration Management: Managing configuration and source code control of artifacts.
The Team

Supporting critical national applications and networks within the NS&G UK Law Enforcement account, working closely with operational end users and partner agencies. The team is on-site at a modern office near Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with diverse and evolving work involving new technologies.

Ways of Working
  • On-site presence in Stratford five days a week, with occasional remote work.
  • Requires SC clearance to start; willing to undergo MOD DV clearance.
  • Combines coding, scripting, process reengineering, teamwork, and communication skills.
