Job summary

Lanes Group in Warrington is seeking a Support Driver to operate a drop side van, load and deliver materials, and collect items after works. You will also perform jet washes and handle weights up to 25kg while supporting emergencies with unsocial hours when needed.

Role requires a full UK driving licence, towing licence, and NRSWA Unit 2. You will work with Sapphire Utility Solutions across UU contracts, ensuring safety, compliance and strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Valid towing licence.
• NRSWA Unit 2 accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain public and team welfare with safety best practices.
• Drive and tow plant as required for site operations.
• Follow safe working methods on all tasks and sites.
• Support teams with site establishment and site clearance.
• Keep company vehicle, equipment and plant clean and secure.
• Maintain good customer relations for the business.
• Complete documentation in line with contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Drive safely and project a positive company image.
• Report safety issues in line with company procedures.
• Use smartphone system to provide feedback on works.
• Coordinate with Support Services and Street Works on liabilities.
