Job summary

SGN is seeking a Support Driver to deliver and collect equipment to operational sites across South England. You will carry out on-time deliveries, coordinate store duties, and keep compounds and vehicles tidy. A full UK driving licence, flexible hours, and a 7-day standby rota are required.

Experience with smartphones/tablets is expected; towability up to 7.5t is an advantage, as is knowledge of the gas industry. NRSWA unit 1 and CPC certification are beneficial for the role.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills suitable for interactions with the public.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and participate in a 7-day standby rota.
• Experience or aptitude in using smartphones/tablets.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Towing trailers up to 7.5t is advantageous but not essential.
• Some knowledge of the gas industry and local area is a plus.
• NRSWA ticket unit 1 and a drivers CPC qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out deliveries of equipment to sites in a timely manner and ensuring site clearance is complete to mitigate penalties.
• Delivering materials to teams working on site.
• Co-ordinating store duties and taking deliveries.
• Keeping outside equipment compounds safe and tidy.
• Keeping your vehicle tidy.
