Job Description

Our General Manager - Property Contracts is looking to recruit an experienced Support Desk Coordinator to join their high-performing team. This role is to cover maternity leave and will be based within our Infrastructure and Sustainability department in Smethwick.

As our Support Desk Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Coordinate and liaise with internal and external contractors via the defect reporting system.
  2. Be the first point of contact for general enquiries relating to the defect system.
  3. Manage the allocation of tasks and chase the completion of jobs as the main user of the defect system.
  4. Analyse worksheets for reactive work.
  5. Process quotes, raise orders, and instruct works.
  6. Process invoices.
  7. Raise capital on the internal finance system.
  8. Perform any other tasks as designated by the General Manager of Property.
Qualifications

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail. You will have excellent organisational skills, time management, and decision-making abilities. A good knowledge of building systems is required.

Additionally, you will need to:

  • Have excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Be able to work independently and effectively at a fast pace.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
