Qualifications

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off

Job Summary

As a Support Controls Engineer, you will join an experienced team to provide controls expertise, support in breakdowns, and assist in developing engineering support through coaching and training. You will work in a highly regulated environment conforming to ISO13485, ISO14971, and other standards, requiring awareness of quality systems and regulatory requirements. The role involves work in manufacturing areas, including clean rooms, requiring appropriate protective clothing.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities
  • Provide controls support to identify and rectify breakdowns
  • Improve control systems through root cause analysis and continuous improvement plans
  • Maintain Software Change Control logs
  • Support OEE data collection configuration and support
  • Mentor and train manufacturing support staff on control systems
  • Design, develop, implement, validate, and support controls systems for new processes and changes
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure follow-through on improvement plans
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of quality systems, medical device/pharmaceutical regulations, FDA, GAMP, ISO standards
  • Experience with manufacturing process systems and interfaces
  • Knowledge of ISO/FDA software validation, audits, change control
  • Proficiency with PLC, SCADA, HMI programming (RSLogix500, Studio5000, RSView32, FTView ME)
  • Experience with safety systems (GuardLogix, Pilz), networks (Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, OPC, etc.), SQL, VBA
  • Ability to perform OEE analysis
Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with cross-site, multinational teams
