The Role: Second Chef – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Rate of Pay: Competitive £12.00 Per hour

Hours: 21 Hours – 8am to 3pm

Job Description:

Are you passionate about food, people and want to be part of our team at Coachman Court – Rochford, Essex?

If you are an innovative, trendy, sociable and dynamic person who enjoys working in an educational catering environment offering all modern food trends, then this could be the role for you!

You will be the Second Chef Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will be on hand to support both operationally and financially to ensure the smooth running on a day to day basis. You will be working within an Assisted Living environment where all the food is prepared with fresh ingredients daily.

You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a contract catering/catering environment. You will be proactive and ‘hands on’ in your working style, an efficient team member; always building rapport with your team and your customers and hold fundamental ethics on always delivering excellent professional customer service.

We are looking for a real team player with excellent culinary skills; a strong knowledge in building GP margins as well as working to a budget.

Experience in using online accounting/stock control software is also desirable.

Safeguarding is of the utmost importance to Churchill; therefore you will be required to complete a Basic DBS Clearance.
