An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Angus Acute Outpatient Administration Team for a Support Audio Typist/Clerical Officer to join our friendly and professional team.
The successful candidate will provide accurate and efficient audio typing support using digital dictation systems, transcribing clinical correspondence and updating patient records on NHS systems such as TrakCare. They will assist with the co-ordination of outpatient clinics, handle enquiries from patients and staff in a professional manner, and carry out a range of clerical duties including filing, scanning, and data entry. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will support the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused administrative service.
Applicants should have proven audio typing skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and strong organisational abilities. The ability to manage workloads in a busy environment, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively are essential. Experience in healthcare administration, knowledge of systems like TrakCare or Winscribe, and familiarity with medical terminology are desirable.
