Part-time Support Administrator

up to £13ph d.o.e, NN17 1QE, Immediate Start, Temporary until October, Part-time hours 5 days per week (flexibility required in relation to hours) average 25hrs per week

Due to continued success and busy business demands, our SME client who is relatively in their infancy has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, supportive experienced administrator to join their team. This will be a standalone position within the office, providing administration support to Managing Director, as well as for the small Workshop team:

  • Processing quotations into orders on the internal database
  • Liaising with suppliers and ordering required stock for order, raising P/O numbers
  • Receiving and processing spare part orders, allocating in-house stock, and ordering non-stocked parts from suppliers, arranging distribution
  • Answering all incoming calls from customers, suppliers and generalist calls, and managing info@ emails responding or distributing as required
  • All other administration duties related to the role

We would expect the successful Support Administrator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, the ideal candidate will have experience of Xero accounting package, be an excellent communicator and have a friendly confident manner. You will be supported to become familiar with the companies processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within sales administration, office administrator or sales support position.

You will be joining the Corby site of a small niche machinery manufacturing company, who are experiencing great success in their business venture. Working directly with the Managing Director, this role will offer variety on a daily basis. The organisation name is synonymous with delivering outstanding quality products, and they are keen to recruit a Support Administrator who strives to offer the same.
