A leading healthcare organisation in Ashington is looking for a Support Accountant to join their Financial Management Team. This role requires a strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. You will be responsible for budget analysis, managing financial reports, and supporting the Community Services Business Unit. The position offers development opportunities under the NHS Agenda for Change framework.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, 37.5hrs per week Support Accountant within the Financial Management Team in Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a Band 5 who is wanting to continue their financial journey or a Band 4 who is keen to start their journey. The post holder will be part of the Community Services Business Unit and will be expected to help the services meet all their financial requirements. The Support Accountant will hold regular reviews with their peers and specialist colleagues to support intelligence gathering and resolve any queries.
The post holder will work within the Financial Management Team for Community Services, collaborating with the BU Accountant and Directorate Accountant to deliver financial support and understanding to the Services Managers and Leads within the Business Unit. The post holder will assist with the financial position for the Business Unit.
