The Role

The Support Accountant position is pivotal in supporting the financial operations of the organisation. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, and providing strategic insight to drive informed decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the Trust.

• Provide financial support to Senior Managers and budget holders.
• Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

The Person

The ideal candidate for the Support Accountant role will be a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in financial management.

Essential

• Fully qualified, with full membership within the CCBA or CIMA.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (or equivalent) to produce, analyse and present complex financial information.
• Current and full driving licence with access to a car. This will be waived for applicants who have a disability that prohibits driving.
