About the Role
Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs in schools across Wolverhampton. As a supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be providing crucial support on a temporary basis, ensuring children with diverse learning requirements are given the tailored care and educational assistance they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.

Assist with the delivery of personalised education plans.

Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.

Help with the implementation of behavior management strategies.

Work closely with the classroom teacher to assess and track student progress.

Promote inclusion, social interaction, and independence for children with additional needs.

Support students during classroom activities, breaks, and other school events.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN), either in a school or care setting.

A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and other staff.

Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential.
