Job description

Teaching assistants needed to work on a supply/part time/ad hoc basis across mainstream primary schools in East London

Hackney/Tower Hamlets

Part time / Flexible days working around you

08:30 - 16:00

About the role

Working as a supply teaching assistant means you can pick which days you would like to work, we then offer work on these days where available in our partner primary schools.

You will be covering sickness/absences so therefore will be working in different schools and year groups throughout the week so you must be adaptable in schools and flexible to travel within your borough.

Your roles will include:

  1. Working alongside children with special education needs (SEN) in mainstream primary schools
  2. Providing support to the class teachers where needed
  3. Working on a 1-2-1 and small group settings basis with children
About the school

Our partner primary schools expect supply TA staff to be punctual, organised, have good time management skills, be confident to work off your own initiative and be able to work well in a team.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Supply Teaching Assistants - East London you will:

  • Have a DBS on the updated service
  • Be able to travel around your borough
  • Be able to work in different year groups

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Prior experience working with children
