Salary: 100 - 110 per day

Are you a passionate and qualified Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across Birmingham primary schools?

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools throughout Birmingham. Whether you're looking for day-to-day cover, short-term assignments, or long-term placements, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils across Early Years, KS1, and KS2.
  • Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
  • Encourage positive learning environments and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Adapt to a variety of school settings with confidence and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
  • Previous experience (minimum 6 months) working in a UK primary school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible, proactive, and reliable approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
