Job summary

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support a variety of primary, secondary and specialist SEN schools throughout Bletchley. This role offers flexible hours and daily supply and long-term opportunities, starting in September.

Location is Bletchley with daily pay rates of £95-£105. Ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates exploring education careers, or those from care or early years backgrounds. DBS Update Service eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience in education, care, youth work or support roles is welcome.
• Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Position: Supply Teaching Assistant

Location: Bletchley

Contract: Daily Supply & Long-Term Opportunities

Hours: Flexible, Monday-Friday, Term Time Only

Pay: £95-£105 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually and in small groups
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning resources
• Help children with additional needs to access learning
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience within education, care, youth work, early years or support work is welcomed
• Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
