Primary Teaching Assistant - Randstad Education

Location: Pulborough
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
Contract Type: Long-term, Day-to-Day Supply, Term-Time Only

About the Role:

Randstad Education is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Pulborough. You will work closely with teachers to create an engaging learning environment, helping students grow academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students needing extra help
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Help prepare and organize teaching materials and resources
Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as required
Assist with classroom management and student behaviour
Participate in school events, activities, and parent meetings when needed

Requirements:

Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to working with students
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (beneficial but not essential)
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
