Supply Teaching Assistant - Milton Keynes - Education and Training

Are you a Teaching Assistant or Nursery Practitioner looking for a more flexible role?

Academics Ltd is currently working with fantastic SEN schools across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes that cater to children with a wide range of educational and social needs. These schools are dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through high standards of teaching and learning.

The Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

  1. Work alongside class teachers and support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.
  2. Support the classroom as a whole and provide 1:1 support when needed.
  3. Be the first point of contact for children in your care, ensuring their well-being and learning needs are met.
  4. Liaise with teaching staff and parents/guardians to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil.

Role Requirements:
  1. Personal or professional experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
  2. A caring, energetic, and enthusiastic approach.
  3. Ability to work as part of a team alongside teaching and support staff.
  4. Willingness to support pupils with personal care, if necessary.
  5. A passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
What You'll Need:
  1. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  2. Right to work in the UK.
  3. A Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (Level 2 or above preferred).
