About the role
Connex Education are delighted to be supporting several excellent primary schools across Burton-upon-Trent (DE13–DE15), and we are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for supply roles throughout the summer term.
These flexible positions are ideal for individuals who have a passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we can offer placements to suit your lifestyle.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with class teachers to support pupils in their learning—both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis. You’ll help create a safe and positive environment that nurtures student progress.
This is a great chance to gain varied experience across local schools while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Assignment details
These supply roles are available now and continue through the summer term. There may also be long-term or permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

Person Specification
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Flexibility, patience, and a proactive attitude
• Minimum grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths and English
• UK Experience working in a school or with children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
