Salary: GBP190-GBP210 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of SEND schools in the Birmingham area to support their recruitment for SEND Teachers. Each setting focuses on pupils' development, with an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and socially/emotionally.

The schools are looking for passionate, team-oriented individuals to take on this short-term role, with potential for long-term placement for the right candidate. The successful SEND Teacher will bring new skills and a positive impact to the school, adapting to each child's individual needs.

The position involves working with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses such as Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviors. A proactive approach and confidence in managing situations are essential.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• Experience working with children with additional needs/disabilities
• Experience with students with SEMH and challenging behaviors
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications (desirable)
