Supply Teacher (Secondary)

We are looking for enthusiastic teachers wanting to work in the Secondary/Primary Sector who are committed to excellence and ready to work in a dynamic part of Scotland to deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and external bodies within the agreements of the Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers and the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Please note that this post is on an as-required supply basis to support short-term cover within Aberdeenshire Council schools.

Requirements

The ability to travel within Aberdeenshire is required.

This post involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If you have spent 3 or more months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. All checks must be satisfactory before employment.
