Vision for Education is recruiting experienced teachers for general cover roles across Primary, Secondary and SEND settings in Yorkshire. You will deliver lessons across subjects, supervise classes, and support student learning with strong behaviour management.

Vision for Education is recruiting experienced teachers for general cover roles in Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Yorkshire, providing opportunities to work across a variety of subjects, Key Stages, and school settings.

The Role

As an experienced Teacher providing general cover, you will:

• Deliver lessons across multiple subjects, following existing schemes of work
• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Maintain high standards of student behaviour and engagement
• Support learning for students across EYFS to KS2 (Primary), KS3 to KS5 (Secondary), or within SEND and alternative provision settings
• Assist with exam preparation, assessments, and classroom administration
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson handovers
• Gain experience across different schools, departments, and educational settings

This role allows experienced teachers to make a direct impact on student learning while enjoying flexible working arrangements.

Requirements

To be considered for this general cover teaching role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent teaching experience within Primary, Secondary, SEND or alternative provision settings
• Confidence delivering lessons in multiple subjects (general cover experience is advantageous)
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Ability to adapt to new schools and teaching environments
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
