The Role

The Junior School at Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools (ESMS) are recruiting for teachers to join our bank of supply teaching staff from August 2025. Remuneration will be on the SNCT Scales.

The purpose of the role is to provide high-quality teaching and support for the Junior School and will include duties such as delivering lessons , adhering to school policies and ensuring the pastoral care of students.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and professional teacher with GTCS registration for Primary Teaching, demonstrating excellent communication skills, the ability to manage workloads effectively, and a commitment to high-quality educational provision. They will bring enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude, aligning with the Junior School’s values and fostering a supportive, engaging environment for children. Eligibility

ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa.
