Aspire People are proud to be working with several schools throughout the beautiful county of Shropshire. We are currently looking to expand our availability of supply teachers of all subject areas in the Newport (TF10) area due to an increased demand from a local secondary school.

The school is a popular secondary at the very heart of the community in Newport. They pride themselves in their dedication to improving outcomes for their students through their core values of providing a caring atmosphere, pride in everything they do, and promoting ambition throughout the school for both staff and students alike. Having worked with the school for several years, I have always found them to be a supportive school for the staff that we send them, and previous supply teachers have been very complimentary of their structure.

Being based in Newport (TF10), the school is easily commutable from Telford, Shifnal, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Market Drayton, Eccleshall, Stone, and Shrewsbury.

About you:

1. Have a passion for working with young people.
2. Ideally hold QTS, although if you have experience working with young people and have a degree, we have roles that we can offer you within the school.
3. Hold a current DBS on the update Service or we can provide this for you.
4. At least Level 1 safeguarding trained - if you don't have this don't worry we will train you free of charge.
5. Willing to get stuck in and involved with the students - they need you most when their Teachers are absent!
