Are you a passionate and qualified supply teacher looking for flexible opportunities in Albans? We are currently seeking Supply Teachers to join a variety of Good to Outstanding Ofsted-rated schools in the area.

Supply Teacher - St. Albans - Primry Sector - EYFS - KS1 - KS2

Location: St. Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary: 140 - 219 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible

As a supply teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in education during teacher absences and cover for staff education and training.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons to primary or secondary school students.
  • Managing the classroom environment, ensuring that behaviour is managed effectively and students remain engaged.
  • Providing constructive feedback to students, following school policies, and marking work where required.
  • Being adaptable and confident teaching across various subjects and year groups.
  • Maintaining a positive learning environment and building rapport with students, even for short-term placements.
  • Upholding the values and ethos of each school you work in.
