Supply Teacher

  • Sittingbourne - Kent
  • 120 - 190 per day, dependent on experience and setting
  • September start date
  • 2-5 days a week

NextGen Teachers are currently working in partnership with a number of schools and trusts in the Sittingbourne area who are in need of flexible supply Teachers for cover starting in the new academic year from September 2025.

NextGen Teachers are looking for Qualified Primary and Secondary Teachers with Qualified Teaching Status (QTs) who are available 2-5 days per week for work opportunities.

Candidates working as a Primary or Secondary Supply Teacher through NextGen Teachers must be available for a minimum of 2 of days each week and must be willing to cover multiple year groups in their specialism (ie KS1 & KS2 or KS3 & KS4).

Working as a Supply Teacher will require being available for last-minute calls from 7:00am on a daily basis for local work and is the perfect option for ECTs looking to start their career in teaching or, experienced teachers looking for flexible working and a work / life balance.

In order to work as a Supply Teacher for NextGen Teachers, candidates must have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience teaching in UK Primary or Secondary schools in the last 2 years
  • DBS on the update service or, willingness to complete a new one
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
