Supply Teacher opportunity – Secondary School (all subjects) – Banbury

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a more flexible way of working within Secondary Schools in Banbury?

Academics Ltd are working with numerous, outstanding schools in and around the Banbury area who are looking to appoint supply teachers ASAP. As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing essential support to schools and ensuring the continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers.

Supply Teacher main responsibilities will include:
  1. Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
  2. Adapting teaching materials and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  3. Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Providing guidance, assistance, and support to students in their academic and personal development.
  5. Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a smooth transition for students and effective communication.
  6. Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to work across different grade levels and subject areas.
Supply Teacher Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  2. Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting, ideally with experience across multiple key stages.
  3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
