GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teacher to work in a mainstream primary school in Weymouth, Dorset starting September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a daily rate between £93 and £140, dependent on experience.

This opportunity is ideal for teachers who thrive in varied teaching environments and enjoy supporting pupils across different year groups. You will play a vital role in maintaining learning continuity and ensuring high-quality education during teacher absences.

As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities will be:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups, following the school’s planning where provided
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils and support their progress
• Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and attendance where required
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership
• Uphold high professional standards and safeguard the welfare of pupils
• Participate in training and professional development as required

Requirements for a Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Prior experience working as a Supply Teacher in primary schools
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Flexibility to work across various classes and key stages
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
