Key Responsibilities:

As a Primary Teacher, your role is crucial to the success of the classroom. You will be responsible for:

  • Confidently planning and delivering engaging lessons across the entire primary curriculum.

  • Creating a stimulating and well-organised classroom that supports pupil learning and well-being.

  • Regularly assessing and tracking pupil progress to inform future teaching and interventions.

  • Effectively implementing the school's behaviour policy to foster a positive and respectful learning environment.

  • Maintaining a strong, collaborative relationship with parents to support their child's education.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • A proven track record of teaching in a primary school.

  • An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).

  • The legal right to work in the UK without any restrictions.

  • A nurturing and patient approach to working with children.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference.

  • Experience with SATs preparation is highly desirable.
