Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: Dixons Academies Trust Secondary Schools, Liverpool

Employer: The Supply Register

Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-day, Short-term, Long-term opportunities)

Salary: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and role)

About the Role

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Dixons Academies Trust to provide exceptional teaching staff across their secondary schools in Liverpool. We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our trusted talent pool and support schools with planned and unplanned cover needs.

This role is perfect for teachers looking for flexible work, variety across different schools, and the opportunity to make a real impact in classrooms without the full responsibility of a permanent post.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects (plans and resources often provided).
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt to different school settings and teaching styles.
  • Ensure pupils remain on task and supported in their learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow school policies.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Flexibility and confidence to work across different schools and subjects.
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
