Job summary

Academics is seeking qualified Primary Teachers with QTS to join our supply team and work across welcoming primary schools in Lewisham. You can choose one or two days a week or a regular timetable across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, follow school planning, build quick relationships with pupils and staff, and maintain strong behaviour expectations in a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for this role.
• Experience in UK primary schools is essential.
• Comfort with teaching across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Reliable, adaptable and professional in a supply setting.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour expectations.

Primary Supply Teacher

Looking for flexibility without giving up great school experience?

Academics are looking for qualified Primary Teachers with QTS to join our supply team and work across welcoming primary schools throughout Lewisham.

Whether you want to work one or two days a week, build a regular supply timetable or are looking for something more consistent, we can offer opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

• Quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour expectations

What We're Looking For

QTS is mandatory for this role.

We are looking for teachers who are:

• Qualified with QTS
• Experienced within UK primary schools

• Strong classroom and behaviour managers
• Able to quickly settle into new schools
• Passionate about making a positive difference to pupils
