Job summary

Destination Education is seeking Supply Primary School Teacher roles across Newham and surrounding areas. We have full-time, part-time, and supply opportunities to suit your schedule, with day-to-day and longer-term placements.

Holders of QTS or equivalent with recent UK primary teaching experience are encouraged to apply. You’ll work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, build positive relationships, manage classes confidently, and adapt to different schools and year groups.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, adaptable, and confident across different year groups.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for teaching.
• Interest in day-to-day, short-term, or longer-term supply opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Follow lesson plans and school policies effectively.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and maintain engagement throughout the day.
• Manage behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups, and classroom environments.
• Provide clear feedback to school staff following each placement.
