Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with a network of primary schools in Bury to recruit a flexible Supply Teacher. You will cover across KS1 and KS2, delivering high-quality lessons, maintaining consistent learning across multiple sites. ECTs welcome.

Primary Supply Teacher

Location: Bury

Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday

Pay: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience

Contract: Supply, short-term and long-term opportunities available

Aspire People is working in partnership with a successful and expanding group of primary schools across Bury to recruit an adaptable and committed Supply Teacher. This role offers the opportunity to work across a number of welcoming school communities that share a strong commitment to inclusion, collaboration, high standards and helping every child achieve their full potential.

We are looking for a teacher who is comfortable working across different school settings and can confidently teach throughout the primary phase. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential, as assignments may vary between schools and year groups depending on need.

As a Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching across a range of primary classrooms, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining positive learning environments. You may be covering planned absences, sickness, training days or longer-term vacancies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, building relationships quickly and gaining experience across multiple school settings. ECTs are welcomed to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

  • Maintain high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Build effective relationships with pupils and school staff
  • Complete marking and assessment where required
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be confident teaching across both KS1 and KS2
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be flexible and willing to work across multiple school sites
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and routines
  • Have a professional, reliable and positive approach
