Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic Supply Teacher to support secondary students across various subjects in Harrow. The role offers day-to-day flexible work, with a start date of 02/09/2026 and ongoing assignment.

The ideal candidate will have a PGCE, up-to-date safeguarding training, and be eligible to work in the UK. The contract is temporary, full-time, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a minimum pay of £150 per day and safeguarding/vetting checks completed.

Acting as a work‑finding service, Prospero teaching has a diverse range of secondary schools in Harrow and the surrounding areas. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with children and young people.
• PGCE
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING,

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years

OTHER

The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching to fill this vacancy.

Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
