The School and Role

Vision for Education is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Supply Teacher to deliver a broad range of subjects within a Pupil Referral Unit. You will work with vulnerable children who display challenging behaviours.

As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of students who need additional support and have become disengaged with education. You will work with the most vulnerable students, enhancing their experience in lessons and wider school life. You will tailor lessons to the individual needs of students and remove barriers to learning.

Requirements

The desired Supply Teacher will have:

  • Experience working with secondary school-aged children
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
  • A passion for the progress of SEND secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS/QTLS
