Job summary

New Directions Education Ltd is seeking Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) to supply across schools in Wrexham and Flintshire. If you’re a newly qualified teacher, you’ll be expected to teach across year groups, plan engaging lessons, and support pupils’ development in a flexible, supportive environment.

You’ll join a dedicated account management team and have access to regular supply work, with opportunities for longer-term roles.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS status and actively work towards induction.
• Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject area.
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student abilities.
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
• Meet requirements for assessment and recording of pupils’ development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues.
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the curriculum structure.
• Take part in school events and activities which may occur at weekends or in the evening.
• Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly, especially in smaller schools.
