Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sinfin
Salary: GBP145 GBP225 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in schools located in Sinfin. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy variety and wish to experience different classroom settings while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

As a Supply Teacher, you will ensure pupils stay on track by delivering set work and managing classrooms effectively during staff absences.

As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and key stages.
  • Maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring pupils remain engaged in learning.
  • Adapting quickly to different classroom environments and school cultures.
  • Marking work and reporting on progress, where required.
  • Supporting a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.

To be successful as a Supply Teacher, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have previous classroom experience within UK schools.
  • Possess strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Be flexible, professional, and enthusiastic about teaching.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
