Job description

Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced and dedicated Supply Teachers to provide flexible cover across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) in primary schools across Coventry.

This is an ideal opportunity for qualified teachers who are seeking flexible work arrangements while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring that learning remains on track in the teacher's absence.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your preference and experience.
Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
Maintain effective classroom control and promote positive behaviour.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils under your supervision.
Adapt to new environments quickly while maintaining high professional standards.

Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in UK primary schools, within your chosen key stage.
Strong working knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Proven behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils quickly.
A flexible and reliable attitude, with the ability to adapt confidently to different school settings.
