Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work across welcoming primary schools in Cambridge and surrounding areas. This role offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to support different school communities on a day-to-day basis.

Ideal candidates will have Qualified Teacher Status and strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with pupils. The position is temporary with day-to-day bookings and both full-time and part-time hours

Supply Teacher - Cambridge - ASAP Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking reliable and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy flexibility, variety, and the chance to support different school communities on a day‑to‑day basis.

Schools are looking for confident practitioners with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with pupils across the primary age range.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Cambridge and surrounding areas
• Position - Primary Supply Teacher
• Type of work - Supply teaching
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration - Day‑to‑day bookings
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part‑time - Both
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum £125 per day for qualified teachers
• Hours - 8:15am - 4:00pm (full day)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Primary teaching experience
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional child‑related references
