Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Exeter area on a flexible, part-time basis. You will be paid £130-£160 per day and choose when and where you work, with support from dedicated consultants to place you in suitable environments.

Successful candidates will have at least 6 months experience with secondary pupils, strong behaviour management, and the ability to deliver pre-set work across KS3 and KS4.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months experience working with secondary-aged pupils (or relevant transferable experience).
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Confident delivering pre-set work across KS3 & KS4.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Adaptability, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Work across a range of secondary schools to support cover lessons.
• Receive ongoing guidance from a specialist consultant.
• Opportunities to enhance your CPD portfolio.
