Job description

North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham

Contract, expected to work full-time hours

Education and Training

£130 - £150 per day

  • Deliver prepared lesson plans to students on a short-term basis
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain discipline
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Prior experience in teaching or working with children

  • Strong understanding of the UK educational system
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Additional teaching certifications
  • Experience in different teaching environments
  • Work in various schools on a temporary basis
  • May require travel to different locations
  • Follow school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
