Your Role:

As a Supply SEN TA, you will be instrumental in helping students overcome barriers to learning. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of needs, including SEMH, Autism, and complex learning difficulties.
  • Assisting the class teacher to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and helping students to achieve their goals.
  • Managing challenging behaviour with a calm and positive approach.
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant experience working within a UK school setting is essential.
  • Proven experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
  • A genuine passion for helping every child succeed.
  • A resilient, patient, and compassionate nature.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one).
