Job Description:

Academics are recruiting enthusiastic and experienced secondary Science Teachers (Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 5) for short and long-term assignments in secondary schools and academies in Cheshire East & West for the summer term (or from September 2025).

We focus on providing flexible work options for teachers, including roles suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), which often lead to permanent positions.

Requirements include:

• UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS or QTLS)
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and Science programmes of study
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
• Ability to adapt quickly and work well within a team
• Current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one (cost applies)
