Stirling Council has a relief driver role available within the Education and ASN team. This position involves the safe transport of schoolchildren with additional support needs to designated locations, requiring a commitment to high-quality customer service and mandatory training. Candidates must also fulfill PVG membership requirements to ensure children's protection.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a relief driver position within the Education and ASN team. You will be responsible for the safe transportation by vehicle (Minibus/Car) of schoolchildren who often have additional support needs and disabilities to and from agreed pick-up/drop-off points.

Any successful candidate will be required to undertake mandatory training (MIDAS). A driving assessment will be conducted as part of the interview process.
The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children. If your application progresses after the interview, you will be invited to complete the necessary forms and have your details verified.
