Supply Primary Teacher
Location: Medway, Kent
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-Time

Are you a passionate and reliable Supply Primary Teacher seeking flexible teaching opportunities?

GSL Education are recruiting a motivated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school as a supply role in Medway. Whether you are an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers the flexibility to manage your schedule while still impacting pupils’ learning and development.

In this Supply Primary Teacher role, you will cover lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, ensuring pupils continue to progress academically in the absence of their regular teacher. You’ll be supported with clear lesson plans, excellent classroom resources, and a team of friendly staff. The role suits individuals who are adaptable, creative, and committed to upholding high standards in teaching and behaviour management.

Supply Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across various primary year groups using pre-prepared lesson plans
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners
  • Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour
  • Ensure that pupils remain engaged, motivated, and on track during teacher absences
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and teaching assistants
  • Follow school policies and provide feedback on pupil learning when required
  • Attend relevant school meetings or handovers as needed

Requirements for Supply Primary Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Flexible, organised, and committed to student progress
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new one
