Overview

Supply Primary HLTA - Leeds

Salary: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience & responsibilities)

Contract: Flexible - day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities

Start date: Immediate / Ongoing

The Education Network is recruiting experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a variety of Primary schools in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled HLTAs who are looking for the flexibility of supply work, while still making a meaningful difference to children's learning and progress.

Responsibilities
  • Cover whole classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-prepared lessons.
  • Support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Deliver small group interventions and targeted support to raise attainment.
  • Assist with planning, marking and assessment where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and foster a safe, engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Hold HLTA status (or equivalent qualification) with recent Primary school experience.
  • Be confident leading whole-class learning as well as supporting individuals and small groups.
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication.
  • Be flexible, adaptable and able to work across different year groups and school settings.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply).
