We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive Supply Planning Manager to lead and optimise our end-to-end
supply planning processes, based at our site in Nottingham!
You will be responsible for ensuring product availability while balancing inventory levels, minimising supply chain costs, and
supporting business growth. You will play a critical role in aligning supply with forecasted demand, managing supplier
relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the planning function.

Working Hours:
The working hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm.
Your Duties Will Include:
* Collaborate with demand planners and commercial teams to align supply plans with forecasts and promotional calendars.
* Develop and execute inventory strategies to ensure optimal stock levels across warehouses and distribution centres.
* Work closely with manufacturing and co-packers to ensure production schedules meet demand while optimising capacity and
efficiency.
* Partner with procurement to ensure material availability, resolve supply issues, and manage lead times and supplier
constraints.
* Lead the supply planning component of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, providing insight on capacity,
constraints, and supply risks.
* Track and report key supply chain metrics (e.g., OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns) and drive root cause analysis and
corrective actions where necessary.
* Liaise with logistics, customer service, finance, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment on business
priorities.
* Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging data and analytics to enhance planning accuracy and supply chain
efficiency.
Your Skills and Experience:
* 5+ years of supply planning experience within FMCG or a similarly fast-paced industry.
* Strong understanding of supply chain planning systems and tools
* Proficient in Excel and data analysis
* Proven track record of managing complex planning processes across multiple SKUs, categories, and geographies.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Knowledge of lean principles and supply chain best practices.
