Job Description

The Supply Planning and Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimising the supply plans and OTB management for all of De Beers London's jewellery collections. This role ensures that supply plans and purchasing strategies align with business targets and initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The key deliverables include optimised inventory levels, on time delivery, efficient supply chain operations, and improved product availability, ultimately driving sales and reinforcing De Beers London's position as a leader in the luxury jewellery market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply planning and execution strategies that support the business objectives of all jewellery collections.
  • Manage the relationship with the De Beers Polished (DBP) division to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  • Ensure supply plans incorporate updated trends and purchasing strategies (moq, leadtime, suppliers' customer base).
  • Ensure supply plan management to guarantee intake aligned with Model Stock TGT and Matrix.
  • Ensure all supply plans are aligned and signed off according to OTB targets and governance.
  • Monitor all Inventory and projections to enable total supply chain inventory reconciliation aligned with targets
  • Responsible for input to suppliers' scorecards, monitoring spending and purchasing trends (Diamonds & Finished Goods).
  • Oversee the management and optimisation of supply plans and inventory levels to minimise excess and obsolete inventory while mitigating out-of-stocks.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Manage yearly supply plans for all jewellery replenishment and new launches.
  • Plan and book production capacity for jewellery and diamonds to meet demand forecasts and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead and manage the supply planning and inventory team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of supply chain and inventory initiatives.
  • Take accountability for delivering results that contribute to the success of the business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the supply chain and inventory management processes.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of supply chain and inventory initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
