Job summary

Booker is recruiting a Promotions Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. You will manage end-to-end stock flow for promotions into the distribution network and out to branches and customers, meeting agreed deadlines.

The role supports hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 remote) and can be based at Hemel Hempstead or other listed sites. You will work with internal and external partners to optimise stock and event activity.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability and experience handling large data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Attention to detail with reporting and data interpretation.
• Willingness to adapt work approach and learn new skills.
• FMG experience is desirable but not essential.
• Proven track record of autonomous and team work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum availability for start and during all event activity.
• Manage flow of volume from distribution centres to branches and customers.
• Load and releaseAllocations accurately and on time.
• Root cause late stock availability and communicate key issues.
• Analyse data, produce reports and provide recommendations.
• Respond to queries and requests from stakeholders.
• Support Seasonal Events and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with GSCOP timelines and conduct.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage trading activities.

About the role

We are recruiting for a Promotions Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the complete end to end planning and flow of stock for Promotion / Allocation activity into the Distribution network and out to branches and customers to agreed deadlines.

This role can be based in either Hemel Hempstead, Maxted Road, Hemel Hempstead HP2 7DX or Equity House, Wellingborough, Irthlingborough, NN8 1LT

Once fully inducted we offer hybrid working 2 days office based and 3 remote.

You will be responsible for

• To ensure maximum availability for the start and during all event activity
• Ensuring that critical timescales are adhered to and issues escalated to the correct level
• Manage the flow of volume from our Distribution centres to our branches and customers
• Ensuring Allocations are loaded and released accurately
• Root causing of late availability of stock and ensure key issues are clearly communicated
• Analysing data to produce reports and providing recommendations on your findings
• Reviewing and responding to queries and requests
• Supporting Seasonal Events and activities
• Supporting the clearance of ex-promotion and seasonal lines
• Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholder teams to ensure that trading activities are effectively managed
• Follow the relevant GSCOP timelines to ensure we are compliant at all times
• Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

You will need

• Strong analytical skill, Intermediate/ Advance working knowledge of Excel and Have proven record of working with large data sets and excel to an intermediate/ advanced level
• Exceptional communication & stakeholder management
• Be able to work independently to problem solve
• Attention to detail, writing of reports, interpreting data and keeping of accurate records.
• Ability to flex work approach
• The aptitude to learn new technical skills quickly
• Experience in working in FMG ideal but not essential.
• Have a proven record of working autonomously as well as part of a Team.
